Mike and Casey will cover the basic technique, movements and stylings of the lindy hop basic. This class will be perfect for those just starting out and for those who have been dancing for years and want to refine Lindy Hop's most classic step. By the end of the class, you'll feel like you are Stompin' at the Savoy.
Set your dancing apart with some tricks that can be done on the social dance floor or in performance. *Partner not required, although you should be comfortable with sharing/support weight with a partner.
This class will consist of footwork and swingout variations that will help you mix and match moves into your dancing so that improvisation becomes more natural to your style.
A line dance jazz routine done to Duke Ellington's "Cotton Club Stomp", choreographed by Giselle Anguizola. This fun and energetic dance is for men and women alike.
